Macquarie Infrastructure Company (NYSE: MIC) announced that it has filed
an automatic shelf registration statement on Form S-3 ("shelf") with the
Securities and Exchange Commission.
Along with the shelf registration statement the Company has filed a
prospectus supplement with respect to a previously announced dividend
reinvestment/direct stock purchase program named MIC Direct. The
prospectus supplement relates to the issuance of up to 1 million
additional shares of MIC to participants in MIC Direct. The Company may
also choose to fill requests for reinvestment of dividends or share
purchases through MIC Direct via the open market.
