Maisons France Confort : 1st half year 2017 sales

Sharp increase in first half 2017 Sales: +22.4%

1 half 2017 Sales of the MAISONS FRANCE CONFORT group stands at €382.1M up 22.4% against last year.

This strong increase in production is the fruit of the strong commercial results recorded during the course of the year 2016 and the integration of the Groupe L'Atelier des Compagnons on 1 January 2017.

At constant scope, half-year growth thus stands at 14.3%.

Over the six months period, the Renovation business generated total Sales of €47.6M.

Sales activity up 9.1% at end June 2017

The order book at end June 2017 amounts to 4,036 sales and shows a turnover of €456.0M before tax, up 6.1% in number and 9.1% in value against 2016. This development in sales, in line with Group forecasts, is explained by:

- a record 2016 commercial activity and consequently a particularly demanding basis of comparison in the second quarter,

- a clientele waiting game marked by the presidential and legislative elections starting in the month of May.

BtoC renovation activity order-intake (Camif, Illico Travaux and Rénovert) at 30 June 2017 amounts to €25.7M up 18.2% against at 30 June 2016, thus confirming their good commercial orientation and their growth relay role.

Strong growth and new improvement in profitability ensured for 2017

These strong sales performances in addition to the high order intake recorded during the course of financial year 2016 allow MAISONS FRANCE CONFORT, in view of the level of projects in progress, to confirm the two-digit organic growth of its 2017 production to which is added external growth.

The Renovation activity diversification strategy undertaken will be expressed in a turnover exceeding €100M in 2017.

Taking into account the volume effect in the house construction activity and the stronger dynamic in the renovation business, operational profitability will again be improving and should reach a more normative level.
