Manganese Bronze Holdings PLC announces that it was today informed that on 5th April 2012 Peter Johansen, Group Finance Director, purchased 14,750 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 34.779 p per share.

Following this transaction, Peter Johansen holds 14,750 shares in the Company, representing approximately 0.0484 % of the current issued ordinary share capital.

Notes:

1. The Company has 30,469,927 Ordinary Shares of 25p each in issue;
2. There are no shares held in treasury so the total voting rights in the Company are therefore 30,469,927; and
3. This notification satisfies the Company's obligations under the AIM rules.
