MARTIFER INFORMS ABOUT THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT OF 45 MILLION EUROS

Martifer SGPS, S.A., a Public Company ("Martifer"), informs about the award of a contract to its subsidiary Martifer Construções Metalomecânicas, S.A. ("Martifer Construções") for the supply and assembly of steel structure for the Geneva International Airport - East Wing.

The contract has an estimated value of 45 million euros and the forecasted deadline for the execution of the project is 24 months.

The production of the steel structure will be carried out mainly at Martifer Group's industrial facilities in Oliveira de Frades, reinforcing Martifer Group's exports, which currently represent more than 80 % of the turnover in steel structure segment in Portugal.

The award of this contract shows the confidence in the national engineering and technical capacity of the Martifer Group.
