the most seen French film in Italy ever

A winning debut for "Ghost Rider- Spirito di vendetta" that managed to crush all the competition, ending up in first place with takings of EUR1.3 million (EUR1,253,774). Yet another element in a year that has already seen Medusa Film ringing up one record after another. Thanks to the first place in the rankings achieved by "Ghost Rider- Spirito di vendetta", nine out of twelve weekends have been dominated by Medusa Film in the first three months of 2012; nothing short of sensational and resulting in increasingly strong leadership.

After dominating the Italian box office for five consecutive weekends, , "Quasi Amici" has officially entered the history books of the Italian box office. The news of the day is that this irresistible French comedy, directed by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache, has become the most seen French film ever in Italy. In fact "Quasi Amici" was able to break the record held by "Il quinto elemento" which, for fifteen years, with takings of EUR8,777,053 in 1997, held the record for the most seen French film ever in Italy. In short, an historic milestone, made possible by another superb weekend in which the French comedy continued to see of the other new releases, grossing a total EUR1,061,574, for a still provisional total that is close to EUR10 million (EUR9,514,960).
