"GHOST RIDER" IS THE CHAMPION OF ANOTHER WEEK
END
WON BY MEDUSA IN A YEAR OF RECORDS
And "Quasi amici" enters the box office history
books:
the most seen French film in Italy ever
A winning debut for "Ghost Rider- Spirito di
vendetta" that managed to crush all the competition,
ending up in first place with takings of EUR1.3 million
(EUR1,253,774). Yet another element in a year that has
already seen Medusa Film ringing up one record after
another. Thanks to the first place in the rankings achieved
by "Ghost Rider- Spirito di vendetta", nine out
of twelve weekends have been dominated by Medusa Film in
the first three months of 2012; nothing short of
sensational and resulting in increasingly strong
leadership.
After dominating the Italian box office for five
consecutive weekends, , "Quasi Amici" has
officially entered the history books of the Italian box
office. The news of the day is that this irresistible
French comedy, directed by Eric Toledano and Olivier
Nakache, has become the most seen French film ever in
Italy. In fact "Quasi Amici" was able to break
the record held by "Il quinto elemento" which,
for fifteen years, with takings of EUR8,777,053 in 1997,
held the record for the most seen French film ever in
Italy. In short, an historic milestone, made possible by
another superb weekend in which the French comedy continued
to see of the other new releases, grossing a total
EUR1,061,574, for a still provisional total that is close
to EUR10 million (EUR9,514,960).
