Holidays with children or without the children? That is the question Sol Hotels is asking of Facebook fans seeking an answer that defines the new segmentation of their holiday experience. Using the original idea of "With or Without?" Sol Hotels has made changes this summer to provide customers with two different types of experience: hotels "With" children to enjoy with your family, and hotels "Without" children for adults only. To promote the new range of hotels, Sol Hotels has created a contest at www.facebook.com/sol-hotels.

For the contest, fans have to choose one of the two fun videos Sol Hotels has created for the occasion depicting the two types of vacations offered to guests. All the participants will enter a prize draw for three stays of four days/three nights for two people at one of the "Adults Only" hotels: Sol Menorca (Menorca), Sol Cala Blanca (Mallorca) and Sol Ibiza (Ibiza). In addition, participants can also invite all their friends on Facebook to take part in the contest.

Family vacations or Adults Only

At the "With" children hotels, a new feature for 2011 is that Sol Hotels has added popular characters from the TV show Lazy Town to the children's entertainment programmes at the hotels (currently a pilot project at the Sol Guadalupe in Mallorca and Sol Gavilanes in Menorca) to encourage children to enjoy the healthy lifestyle that inspired the popular series.

The agreement with Lazy Town joins another of Sol Hotels most popular programmes: the Flintstones-themed hotels, which have rooms, entertainment facilities and activities inspired by the Flintstones characters, and have become a very attractive and popular feature for family holidays.

On the "Without" children side, the Sol Menorca has become an "Adults Only" hotel this year only for people over 15 years of age, joining the Sol Cala Blanca (Mallorca) and Sol Ibiza to cater to guests seeking a more relaxed vacation and attention to detail.
