National Fuel Offers 2 Public Information Forums Regarding the Proposed Pendleton Compressor Station Oct. 7 & Nov. 7, 2015

(Sept. 28, 2015) WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. - National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation and Empire Pipeline, Inc. (referred to as National Fuel) will host 2 Public Information Forums to provide community members with the opportunity to have one-on-one conversations with National Fuel representatives responsible for proposed Pendleton natural gas compressor station design, safety, and operations and to view architectural renderings of the proposed station. Third party experts will also be on hand for questions.

The Public Information Forums will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 7, and Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015. The Oct. 7 event will take place at the Wendelville Fire Department at 7340 Campbell Blvd. in Pendleton from

1 through 9 p.m. The Nov. 7 event location will be announced following the first forum. The 2 Public Information Forums will provide 16 potential hours of discussion and interaction with National Fuel representations and environmental consultants as well as 6 presentations on the design and operation of the proposed station.

The forums will include an open house format with discussion areas setup in the fire hall to address perceived community concerns including safety, station design, construction, operation, air quality, noise, pipeline and property values. Representatives from National Fuel will be on hand throughout the day to provide information and answer questions.

Detailed presentations on the design, safety and operation of the proposed natural gas compressor station will be available each day at 2 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. With crowd capacity at 125 for each presentation, there will be enough total space for 750 people to attend a presentation over the course of the 2-day forums.

National Fuel officials are purposefully limiting the number of participants for the presentations as the goal is to have 2-way discussion and address all concerns. Larger crowds would not allow for a productive environment.

Community members who plan to attend a presentation will need to RSVP in advance for a specific presentation on a selected date. Reserve as soon as possible by emailing name, address, a telephone number and the number of people in your party to Corpcomm@natfuel.com. The Company will work to ensure there is space at 1 of 6 sessions offered in October and November. All registrants will receive a confirmation email or telephone call to confirm the reservation.

Two forums, one during the week and one on the weekend, were scheduled to provide significant access for community residents to National Fuel representatives as well as third-party experts in the natural gas industry. National Fuel will be adhering to the fire code crowd capacity limits at the Wendelville Fire Hall, if necessary.
