NORDEA BANK In order to further strengthening our relationship to corporate customers, Mathias Leijon has been appointed Co-Head of Nordea Corporates and Institutions. He was earlier CIO/Head of Fundamental Equities at Nordea Asset Management and has 17 years of experience from the financial industry within corporate finance, equities, merger and acquisitions as well as asset management.
He will share this assignment with Olli-Petteri Lehtinen. The unit has around 3,000 customer groups and are responsible for Nordea's largest customers, such as large corporations and institutions. We offer investment banking services, corporate financing and equity and fixed income trading.
- I am of course very happy with this opportunity. My key focus will be how to further strengthen our relationship with corporate customers, as well as working closer to our investment banking unit, says Mathias Leijon.
Mathias Leijon is also a part of the Nordea Wholesale Banking Executive Management.
