WOODBRIDGE, NEW JERSEY, February 12, 2016- John W. Alexander, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Northfield Bank, announced today that Denny John, Chief Information Officer, is promoted to Senior Vice President. Mr. John will continue to have leadership responsibilities for all facets of technology and information security.
Mr. John joined Northfield Bank in 1996 as a teller and most recently served as Vice President, IT Operations prior to being appointed Chief Information Officer in March 2015.
Denny is a technologist at heart and has more than 15 years of experience in leveraging technology-based solutions to drive innovation and support business value. As we continue to shape our technology agenda, Denny's leadership, talent and in-depth experience in cyber security, data analytics and IT governance will be instrumental as we successfully execute our strategic plans.
Mr. John is an active member of the Information Systems Audits and Control Association and Financial Services Information Sharing Center.
