EDISON, N.J., June 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- New Jersey Citizen Action (NJCA) and Ocwen Financial Corporation (NYSE: OCN) hosted a June 4, 2015 borrower outreach event designed to provide information on innovative mortgage solutions for homeowners having difficulty making their mortgage payments.

The dinner and information session was held for struggling homeowners interested in learning more on how New Jersey Citizen Action's free Loan Counseling Program can help homeowners find mortgage solutions. Follow-up appointments with HUD-certified counselors were scheduled for event attendees. Ocwen Home Retention counselors were also on-site Thursday evening to talk face-to-face with borrowers about their unique lending situations.

        package;
    --  Information on borrower eligibility for state and federal foreclosure
        assistance programs, and;
    --  Counsel on possible mortgage solutions tailored to fit their unique
        situations
