OriginOil Inc. (OTC/BB: OOIL), developer of Electro Water Separation™ (EWS), the high-speed, chemical-free process to clean up large quantities of water, announced today a series of showcases to demonstrate the successful removal of frac flowback and produced water pollutants with the P1000 demonstration-scale unit. The roadshow will begin in May on Colorado’s Western Slope and continue on to Texas and California.

“We’re very proud of our compact and efficient thousand-barrel per day frack water cleanup system, the new P1000,” said Bill Charneski, general manager of OriginOil’s Houston-based Petro Division. “This system reflects the capabilities of a commercial scale unit, and a number of potential licensees in these states are eagerly awaiting these demonstrations.”

Each OriginOil showcase focuses, first, on demonstrating EWS to potential licensees. It also provides a venue for regional officials to dialogue on crucial water issues. The “Thousand Barrel Roadshow” will launch near Grand Junction on May 27th, in tandem with the “Water Management for Shale Plays West 2014” conference in Denver. Government stakeholders, potential customers and selected guests will be in attendance.

Delta-based Industrial Systems (ISI) will host the inaugural showcase and invite its own frack water tank customers from North and South America. ISI, an OriginOil licensee, will provide both frac flowback and produced water from a local disposal well site for the demonstration.

“We are excited about adding EWS technology to our existing line of movable panel tanks,” said Bob Isom, CEO/President of ISI. “We’ve partnered with OriginOil through the pay-per-barrel financing program, so that our customers can start cleaning frack water in real time without the capital expenditure up front. This model is how the industry can adopt new technologies fast.”

Isom added: “We have been actively promoting the EWS technology for months and have a very long list of customers who want to see the equipment in action. We expect multiple orders from the event." (View Brochure.)

“I am very pleased that OriginOil is bringing the demonstration-scale roadshow to Texas,” said Dr. R. Gerald Bailey, OriginOil’s Industry Advisor and former President of Exxon - Arabian Gulf. “As most people recognize, Texas is the center of the Oil & Gas business. It is essential that the technology be demonstrated here.”

The roadshow will culminate in a major showcase in California, where the P1000 will be featured together with Pearl Blue’s end to end frack water cleanup system, which integrates OriginOil technology into a complete licensee offering. (View Brochure.)

Cory Severson, president of Pearl Blue, said, “We are excited about the opportunity to build our first commercial scale system powered by OriginOil’s EWS Petro™ process. We expect this installation to be the first of many in California within the next year.”

In addition to the three major showcases, smaller demonstrations will take place in Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana. To schedule a custom demonstration, please contact sales@originoil.com.
