CORRIGENDUM TO THE ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE FULL YEAR RESULTS OF THE COMPANYThis is with reference to our announcement dated 23 February 2012 that was release on the same date.
We wish to clarify that on page 16, under "Gross profit", the first paragraph should be read as follows:
"Gross Profit
The $86.9 million decrease in gross profit was primarily
contributed by the shipbuilding, ship repair and conversion
segment as a result of (1) the reduction in external revenue;
(2) non-capitalisable costs of shipyard relating to
construction of vessels for the chartering fleet with no
corresponding revenue; and (3) the reversal of profits
arising from the cancellation of two vessels (disclosed in
the Q3-2011 announcement) and expected cancellation ofanother
vessel. The reversal of profits amounted to $32.9 million
(FY2010: $23.6 million). This decrease was exacerbated by
reduction in leasing revenue and lower utilisation rates of
vessels in the geophysical segment."
The words that are underlined have been added. We confirm
there is no change in the gross profit of the Company..
