Pandora (NYSE:P), the leading Internet radio service, has partnered with Josh Groban to present an exclusive live performance on June 1, 2015 in New York City. In addition to this intimate performance, Pandora worked with the singer to curate a custom mixtape featuring notable classic and modern theater favorites. In a video interview available only to Pandora listeners, Josh sat down with noted writer Alan Light to discuss Stages.

An internationally renowned singer, songwriter and actor whose baritone voice is instantly recognizable and unparalleled among his peers, Groban has entertained fans across the globe with his multi-platinum albums and DVDs (selling more than 30 million worldwide), electrifying live performances and comedic film and television appearances. Groban is the only artist with two albums on Billboard’s list of 20 best-sellers in the last 10 years.

Stages, the new album from Groban, came out last month via Reprise Records and is a collection of some of the greatest musical theater songs of all time. Groban describes the tracks as "gorgeously arranged songs that have stood the test of time." A week before its U.S. release, Stages shot to the top of the U.K. album chart, earning Groban his first No. 1 album there. Groban recently spent three weeks in Europe where he performed for the Queen of Denmark, appeared on the finale of The Voice in France, and did a host of high-profile talk show appearances in England and Ireland.

Through this partnership, Pandora and Groban are offering listeners a unique opportunity to be a part of the Stages experience. This is also the latest example of the ongoing efforts by Pandora to connect music makers and listeners. Late last year, the company launched its Artist Marketing Platform (AMP) and, more recently, introduced Artist Audio Messaging.

"We are thrilled to work with Josh, his management and his label to bring his listeners a unique event and a singular listening experience on Pandora,” said Lars Murray, senior vice president, Music Makers Group at Pandora. “It’s a great demonstration of Pandora's ability to connect music makers and fans in new and exciting ways."
