Petrominerals Corporation has been engaged in oil and gas exploration, drilling, production and other oil industry-related businesses. The Company's principal business is the production of oil and gas. It has two assets: the right to produce oil and gas and the right to own oil and gas production. The Company has merged with and acquired several companies engaged in similar activities. In April 1998, all of its oil and gas properties were sold. Following the sale of most of its oil and gas properties in 1998, Petrominerals has attempted to re-deploy its assets both by acquiring oil and gas producing properties and by merger with another company.
