April 22, 2015 marks the 45th anniversary of Earth Day, enacted in 1970 as a day to promote a global commitment toward environmental sustainability. • Our GenDrive customers see up to 90% faster refueling time using GenFuel over battery exchanges. Throughout the Plug Power customer fleet, a GenDrive fuel cell is refueled using GenFuel every six seconds.
All of this happens as a by-product of the reliable hydrogen fuel cell power that enables us to carry out our lives without thinking about whether our grocery stores will have food on the shelves, our cell phones will send and receive text messages, our luggage will get to the airplane or the crossing gates will protect us from oncoming trains.
