WKN wind farm Kropp put into operation

The Husum-based WKN, a company of the PNE WIND group, punctually handed over wind farm Kropp to the investor KGAL after commissioning these days.

The wind farm, which was built in the Schleswig-Flensburg area, was put into operation with an installed total output of 18.45 megawatts. WKN had sold three of the six Vestas V112 turbines with a hub height of 94 metres and a total output of 9,225 megawatts to KGAL at the end of last year. The asset manager KGAL located in Grünwald has inserted this wind farm as the seventh project to the institutional ESPF3 fund actually being raised. The three remaining turbines had already been previously sold and punctually handed over to the communal wind farm Kropp-Tetenhusen GmbH & Co. KG.

"After a record-breaking approval procedure, the construction phase ran surprisingly quickly and without complications," Helge Schmietendorf, Head of the WKN construction department reports. The wind farm Kropp now provides approximately 15,000 households with renewable energy as a combination of communal wind farm and institutional investment.
