Premier Technical Services : PTSG holds the Quays at Royal Docks development scheme

Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has been awarded a contract to install lightning protection at Phase 2 of a large residential scheme at London's Royal Docks.

Part of a masterplan to redevelop London's Royal Docks, the largest enclosed docks in the world, the Great Eastern Quays scheme comprises 350 high quality, sustainable one, two three and four-bedroom mix tenure homes for Notting Hill Housing on the site of a former pharmaceutical warehouse and commercial building alongside a retained historic pumping station at the eastern end of the docks.

Engineers from PTSG's Electrical Services division will be deployed to install lightning protection systems to two newbuild apartments and four town houses at the scheme, protecting the properties from potential structural damage in the event of a lightning strike, and also protecting future tenants.

PTSG's Electrical Services division has been regularly deployed throughout London, providing lightning protection schemes for multiple housing association clients. The division was also recently awarded an installation contract at five residential sites at the Blackhorse Mills scheme in Waltham Forest.
