Principal Funds today announced the promotion of Susie Brotz to regional vice president, effective January 1, 2015. In this role, Brotz will be responsible for leading a 15-member sales team focused on broker/dealer mutual fund sales in the Northeast and mid-Atlantic states.
“Susie’s commitment to our industry and passion for the business make her a perfect fit for this role,” said Tim Hill, national sales director for Principal Funds. “As a firm, we continue to experience tremendous growth—sales increasing threefold in less than four years—and I’m confident in Susie’s ability to keep the positive momentum going.”
With more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, Brotz currently serves as a key account manager for Principal Funds. Prior to joining Principal Funds in 2005, she was a manager at Robert W. Baird & Co., overseeing the mutual fund product department.
Brotz earned a bachelor’s degree in Italian from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is on the board of Heiliger Huegel, a private ski club in Wisconsin.
