Lausanne 17 October 2013 PubliGroupe has concluded the sale of a 51% stake in xentive AG to the Boston-based Mediaspectrum Inc. The Swiss Competition Commission (COMCO) granted its approval to the transaction. The transaction was previously announced on 12 July 2013.

With the sale of a 51% stake of xentive to Mediaspectrum, a Boston-based company offering premier software solutions in the cloud for managing cross-channel advertising sales as well as production and content management, xentive will be able to considerably enrich its service offering.

The new shareholder Mediaspectrum will allow xentive to position itself in the market even more attractively as an independent BPO service provider vis-à-vis other media companies. xentive's main long-time BPO client is Publicitas, the leading advertising marketing company. NZZ-Mediengruppe and Le Temps are further media companies that have already opted for xentive as BPO partner and the systems solution of Mediaspectrum.

Mediaspectrum, in turn, benefits from the established organization's profound competences in the area of BPO and systems integration for the media industry.

Effective immediately, xentive and its 125 employees will operate as an independent subsidiary of Mediaspectrum with a primary concentration in Europe. Alongside its traditional BPO business, xentive will additionally provide support to the integrators of Mediaspectrum software on implementation projects.

xentive will continue to be headed by the current CEO Christian Rohrbach.
