Stuttgart, Germany, 09 January 2015. RIB Software AG and the Max Bögl Group, the largest family-owned construction firm and one of the top five companies in the German Construction Industry, have signed a Phase II contract for the new web-based iTWO components. This complements the existing iTWO 5D Big Data platform. With this, Max Bögl will use all iTWO components for efficient 5D/6D processes: iTWO tx for the web-based allocation of contracts, iTWO MM for web-based purchasing, iTWO civil for 5D processing of infrastructure projects and web-based iTWO controlling.
Mathias A. Bartl, Head of Technical Organisation, Corporate Development of Max Bögl Group, stresses: "At Max Bögl it is an integral part of our corporate philosophy that we always want to work with the best tools. RIB software has been a central component of construction project management for 10 years now: from the bidding phase, to contract and execution through to subsequent costing. Our goal is to establish Building Information Management (BIM) working methods as consistently as possible throughout the company, with iTWO Big Data being the central platform. All other software applications, whether in CAD, in construction operations planning or in ERP, dock to this central component, and this is how we permanently synchronise our IT tools."
