Milano, 15 November 2017 - We refer to the article published today in Milano Finanza newspaper 'The World Cup Flop hits RCS' which reports in the subtitle 'The Disaster of the Azzurri will affect circulation an d advertising revenue of La Gazzetta dello Sport which could expect tens of millions of proceeds from the event' and also 'An injury that could weigh tens of millions': these data are incorrect and overestimated, and do not reflect the impacts in terms of revenue and margins generated during the last World Cup competitions, when in 2014 they brought in RCS in Italy around 7 million euros of incremental revenue and around 5 million euros of incremental margin.

It is reasonable to expect that the strong and widespread interest in the World Cup, even in the absence of Italian national team, and in view of the initiatives that will be launched by RCS Group on that occasion, will still allow to realize in Italy in 2018 much of those incremental revenue and margins.

It is also underlined that RCS Group publishes in Spain Marca, leader in sports newspapers, which will benefit in terms of advertising and circulation of Spanish national team participation in the World Championships.
