ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Sept. 19, 2014) - Rockwell Collins announced that Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (Aerodom) has signed a multi-year contract renewal for the company's ARINC vMUSE™ Common Use Terminal Equipment (CUTE) system at Las Américas (SDQ) and Gregorio Luperón (POP) airports.

The contract with Aerodom-which is the private concessioner authorized by the Dominican government to manage six of the Dominican Republic's nine airports-also includes the renewal of ARINC LocalCheckSM, the airports' local departure control system (LDCS); and Rockwell Collins' ARINC Counter Allocation Display System (CADS). Aerodom also contracted with Rockwell Collins for its ARINC Managed Services to provide on-site IT airport systems maintenance and support at both locations.

ARINC vMUSE enables airports to support multiple airline applications running concurrently on the same workstation, allowing airlines to process passengers faster and more efficiently while reducing costs. The airports' charter airlines will use ARINC LocalCheckto enhance border security by automating the transmission of Advanced Passenger Information System (APIS) data to customs officials.

"Through its ARINC airport services, Rockwell Collins has provided outstanding support at our airport locations," said Monika Infante CEO at Aerodom. "That support, combined with the company's industry-leading products, has had a significant positive effect on our customer's travel experience."

"Rockwell Collins is committed to our customers in Latin America and the Caribbean," said Mike Picco, staff vice president, Airport Systems for Rockwell Collins.  "This agreement highlights another milestone in our successful strategy to grow our business throughout Latin America."
