PHOENIX (April 7, 2014) − At MRO Americas 2014, Thierry Tosi, vice president and general manager, Service Solutions for Rockwell Collins, will share his insight on enhancing airplane availability during a panel discussion.

On April 9 at 11:45 a.m., Tosi will participate in a panel discussion on "Enhancing Airplane Availability," where he and other panel members will discuss how getting every flight hour possible from every airplane, every day, goes beyond what is known as dispatch reliability. The panel will discuss ways to improve gate turnaround times up to 10 to 15 percent, which can make a big difference to a carrier's bottom line.

Bob Haag, senior director of Global Service Business Development for Rockwell Collins, will also participate in a panel discussion on April 9. His panel, "What Does Better Buying Power 2.0 Mean in MRO?" takes place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and will examine how broad adoption of performance based logistics (PBL) contracts supports the Department of Defense's most recent acquisition guidance.

In addition, Rockwell Collins will be exhibiting at MRO Americas 2014 (exhibit #713). The company will highlight the growing popularity of its DispatchSM program for commercial airlines, including the latest generation of aircraft equipped with Rockwell Collins' most advanced avionics platforms. On the military side, Rockwell Collins will feature its FlexForce™ Life Cycle Service Solution, a comprehensive program for defense and government agencies worldwide that brings together multiple service offerings from the company. Also in its exhibit, the company will feature capabilities from its Intertrade subsidiary - a growing nose-to-tail recertified aircraft components and engine parts business.

Attendees of MRO Americas 2014 can visit the Rockwell Collins exhibit to learn more about these offerings, and to speak with a team of company experts about the company's broad portfolio of life cycle support solutions for business aviation, air transport and military customers around the world.
