During a business trip to London, Russian Grids JSC General Director Oleg Budargin held a number of personal meetings with executives from international and British financial institutions and investment companies.

The Director particularly met with representatives from BlueBay Asset Management, PineBridge Investments, Franklin Templeton Investments and the Ashmore Group.

These meetings were held to get the investors up to speed with the latest news and events. In particular, the parties discussed the long-term prospects of Russia's power grid, the development strategy at Russian Grids JSC, investment opportunities, the company's plans for attracting funding and the possibility of expanding into international capital markets both in the European and in the Asia Pacific regions.

Discussions particularly focused on Russian Grids' plans for expanding and modernising its government assets in the electricity sector as well as the mechanism for attracting funding for investment projects.

Oleg Budargin noted that today, it is difficult to imagine a company implementing large investment projects without engaging with shareholders and investors. Russian Grids intends to use its international successes to further enhance its operational and investment efficiency while also expending efforts to increase the company's investment appeal.

It is noteworthy that investors showed a high degree of interest towards Russian Grids following the meetings. Among other matters, our British colleagues showed a great deal of interest towards the company's development strategy and discussed several aspects of our financial and economic policy.
