As part of his working trip to Beijing Oleg Budargin, General Director of Rosseti, continued consultations with foreign partners on Asian Energy Ring Project.

In particular, a regular round of talks with the management of State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) was held a day before.

Budargin and Shu Yinbiao, Chairman of SGCC's Board of Directors, agreed to continue mutual developing of Project's feasibility study.

The parties expressed confidence in trans-border integration benefit for all countries. Participants in the meeting consider it an future investments that will make it possible to improve the energy balance between several states, keep costs down and make a serious contribution to improving the environment in Asia due to increasing clean energy produced at Siberian hydroelectric power stations.

The companies also discussed prospects for Chinese equipment local manufacturing in Russia with further use in modernizing Russian transmission grids as a part of joint venture.

The parties agreed to continue consultations and intercommunication within every aspect of cooperation. SGCC invited Rosseti's representatives to take part in an international conference on renewable energy development to be held in France in June 2017.

During the meeting at Chinese corporation's headquarters Budargin also visited an exhibition on global energy integration.
