Royal Jordanian : RJ continues being the official carrier of the Jordan Football Association

Amman, May 4, 2015: On the side-lines of the Soccerex Asian Forum which is currently held at the Dead Sea, the partnership agreement between RJ and the Jordan Football Association (JFA) was renewed in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Ali, the president of the Jordan Football Association.

According to the agreement, RJ will continue being the exclusive official carrier and sponsor of JFA and national teams for the sixth consecutive year.

RJ President/CEO Captain Haitham Misto and JFA Acting General Secretary Fadi Zureikat signed the agreement in the presence of officials from both sides and media representatives. The agreement was signed in RJ's booth; the airline is one of the sponsors of this forum, which Jordan is hosting for the second year on the shores of the Dead Sea.

The agreement comes in line with Prince Ali's objective of entering partnerships with leading Jordanian institutions to enable the young generation to attain its aspirations and national institutions to play a greater role in supporting the national football teams who participate in different international events.

Captain Misto expressed RJ's satisfaction with the renewal of the agreement with the JFA, saying: "We are pleased that HRH Prince Ali attended the signing of the agreement and we are honoured that he visited our booth. Today we are renewing the sponsorship agreement with the JFA during a big international sports forum".

He also expressed admiration for the great efforts Prince Ali exerts to improve the level of Jordanian football in order to reach high national and international achievements.

Misto stressed that RJ always plays its national role and displays its corporate social responsibility in support of the Jordanian teams, a role RJ is keen on enhancing in the future.

He also mentioned that over the past years, RJ was proud to transport the national teams and the associations' representatives all over the world.

Zureikat said that the JFA is honoured as well to renew the sponsorship with such a well-established company as RJ, of which every Jordanian is proud.

He added that "HRH Prince Ali directed us to meet the public and private official institutions as he believes in their pivotal role towards Jordan and the young generation".

According to Zureikat, RJ deserves to be the official carrier of national teams because both entities raise Jordan's name and flag high.

Zureikat thanked the RJ family for its support during the past years, praising the decision makers' keenness on keeping this strategic partnership.
