AURORA is a renewable, autonomous, mobile and customisable power generation unit. Its equipment is housed in a standard container. It can generate solar and wind power and can also be used with a fuel cell as well as medicinal H2 and O2. It can run on its electrical storage capacity for up to a week in the absence of wind and sun. It is equipped with a robotic arm which automatically deploys all the photovoltaic solar panels and which also acts as a mast for the wind turbine. It can be shipped anywhere in the world with minimum personnel requirements both for deployment and installation, and it can be controlled and monitored remotely. It is specially designed to respond to natural disasters, work in isolated areas, civil works, field hospitals, temporary settlements for humanitarian action, etc.

The Aurora project is developed in a consortium with Kemtecnia and Ariema Enerxia, under the Feder Innterconnecta call for proposals from the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness
