SageGlass electrochromic glass was launched in the United Kingdom at the FIT Show, from April 12 to 14 at the Telford international centre near Birmingham. It is marketed under the SMARTGLASSDynamic brand in partnership with Clayton Glass, one of the leading manufacturers of windows and conservatories on the residential sector.

SageGlass tints to control excessive solar heat gain and glare inside buildings while maintaining an unobstructed view to the outside, an innovation ideally suited to homeowner conservatories. The tinting of the glass and consequently the levels of sunlight can be defined using a mobile app (iOS or Android).

The innovation equips one of the large curtain-walls of the exhibition hall at the FIT Show (Fabricator Installer Trade), the event dedicated to glass and glazing fabricators and installers. This full-scale 314m² installation will provide a demo of Ligthzone technology that allows for the creation of up to three variable tint zones within a single pane of glass, from 60% to 1% light transmission. It allows British architects and investissors to live the SageGlass experience.
