Savills Fund Management GmbH has signed a new lease agreement in Minerva in South East Amsterdam. The agreement concerns approximately 5,875 sq m in total.

New tenant Huawei is a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider. Huawei has over 170,000 employees and is active in over 170 countries and regions, serving more than one-third of the world's population.

Minerva and Mercurius (11,179 sq m) are located in the centre of the high-end office park Plaza ArenA in South East Amsterdam. Over the last couple of years the area has developed positively. The new Intercity NS station and the opening of the Ziggo Dome have contributed to this. In addition, several hotels have recently opened transforming Plaza ArenA into an urban area where people can work, shop, enjoy sports and live entertainment.

Due to the arrival of Huawei and also the recent transaction with Stryker, the landlord will refurbish the entrance of Minerva. Also the restaurant will be upgraded and moved to the Mercurius building.

'Mercurius & Minerva' is located at Herikerbergweg 2-36 and 145-179 in Amsterdam.

In this transaction Savills Fund Management GmbH was advised by Savills. Huawei was advised by CBRE.
