October 28, 2014, Moscow - The Sberbank Committee for Minority Shareholders Relations held a meeting. At the meeting, Vice-President, Director of Sberbank's Small Business Development Department, Andrey Sharov, talked about the Bank's work with the small and micro business segments.

"Every second small/micro company in Russia is a client of Sberbank and the Bank's market share is increasing," said Andrey Sharov. "The largest growth is in the non-commercial sector."

The speaker reminded minority shareholders about the main goals of Sberbank's Strategy up to 2018 for small and micro business: increase the number of small business clients by 80%, and small and micro business assets - threefold.

"Today, the Bank uses a new business model when working with small and micro business clients that allows clients to reduce their expenses on purchases and makes development decisions easy," said Andrey Sharov. "The introduction of this model has been a factor in the outpacing growth of small and micro entrepreneurship."

Sberbank of Russia's Committee for Minority Shareholders Relations was established to generate a system within Sberbank aimed at maintaining efficient liaison with the Bank's minority shareholders. The Committee is an advisory and consultative board.
