October 14, 2016, Moscow- Since the start of the year, the volume of operations using the Self-cash Collection service has increased by 75% to RUB 62.5 bln. The number of operations has grown by 70%, reaching 1.5 mln per month.

As of today, the Self-cash Collection service is being used by more than 400,000 clients. This is 80% of Sberbank's corporate clients who need to deliver revenue.

Self-cash Collection involves topping up the settlement account of a legal entity via a Sberbank ATM. The service can be used at any ATM with the cash acceptance function (58,000 devices throughout the country) regardless of where the legal entity is registered. Additional documents do not need to be submitted to transfer revenue.

Sberbank is currently updating its set of devices by adding more ATMs with recirculation and enhanced bill acceptors. The new devices will allow the bank's clients to deposit large sums of money in shorter amounts of time. For clients who previously had to go to the bank's offices to deposit large amounts of revenue on their account, this will allow them to switch to a more convenient, round-the-clock service. The installation of these enhanced ATMs has already begun at 10 regions (Moscow and the Moscow Region, St. Petersburg, the Krasnoyarsk Region, and others). By the end of the year 600 of these devices will be installed, and more than 5,000 in 2017.

«The simplicity of Self-cash Collection can be compared with topping up your mobile phone,» commented Anatoly Popov, Senior Vice President of Sberbank. «To deposit cash via an ATM you don't even need a bank card, as this can be performed using a code. Deposits can be made round-the-clock and funds are immediately available to clients after transactions have been completed.»
