Sberbank Rossii : updates Thank You from loyalty programme

21 June 2018, Moscow - Sberbank announces the launch of the updated Thank You from Sberbank loyalty programme. The main goal of the programme restart is to allow its participants to not only accumulate more Thank You bonuses, but also motivate clients to move from cash to non-cash payment, and use online banking and other financial instruments of the bank. The new conditions will be valid from 1 July 2018.

The updated programme uses gamification elements that will not only help participants to receive additional privileges in a game format, but also explain new rules of Thank You from Sberbank to them.

Four privilege levels and exchange of bonuses for roubles. By fulfilling tasks, the participants of the programme will reach new levels with additional privileges for accumulation and exchange of bonuses. There are four levels: Thank You, Thank You Very Much, Thank You So Much, and More than Thank You. Upon reaching the fourth level, participants will have the opportunity to exchange their Thank You bonuses for roubles. After the programme restart on 1 July, all clients will be at the Thank You Very Much level for three months.

You can gain more bonuses. By fulfilling easy tasks, participants will not only receive 0.5% for each purchase with Sberbank's cards, but also at the Thank You So Much and More than Just Thank You levels, they will be able to choose additional categories to receive increased bonuses for their purchases. There are a number of tasks that should be fulfilled each month within three months to reach each privilege level. Transfer to another level is possible once per quarter.

Participants can monitor information on the fulfilment of tasks. Each month, clients will receive information on the fulfilment of tasks for the previous month in the app or in the loyalty account in Sberbank Online's Thank You from Sberbank segment.

It is still easy to spend accumulated bonuses. The bonuses can be exchanged for railway and plane tickets, hotel reservations, and theatre and concert tickets. Participants can exchange the bonuses for goods and services of more than 200 programme partners whenever they want.

The minimum privilege level for the youth and retired people will be Thank You Very Much. For several client groups, for example the youth and retired people who hold the Youth and Social cards, the minimal level of the programme will always be Thank You Very Much. The same conditions will be given to premium clients and holders of Gold and more prestigious cards. The increased accumulation of bonuses for these cards will be unchanged and added to the categories available in the updated Thank You from Sberbank programme.

'Clients will receive even more bonuses due to the new format of the Thank You from Sberbank loyalty programme, and they will receive the opportunity to exchange them for roubles,' said CEO of Thank You from Sberbank programme Andrey Pisarev. 'The new programme uses gamification elements in the form of monthly tasks which help participants not only to receive bonuses from the bank and the programme's partners, but also to develop financial literacy and to learn more about the bank's products and their advantages.'

The privilege levels are available for owners of all Sberbank cards, except for ones issued under Aeroflot Bonus and MTS programmes.
