Roma's Easter in the Country celebrations were a little brighter this year with Senex Energy's major sponsorship of the Senex ColourXplosion.

Young and old were showered in a vibrant kaleidoscope of colour when they come in droves for the 5km fun run and walk held on Easter Sunday in Roma's Bassett Park.

The partnership with PCYC Maranoa is in line with our commitment to supporting and promoting the vibrancy and sustainability of local communities in which we operate.

Senex MD and CEO Ian Davies said the event's partnership with the PCYC is one Senex is proud to be involved in.

'The volunteers and employees at PCYC Maranoa work tirelessly to engage the local community through vital regional programs to meet local community and youth needs through youth development, crime prevention and community engagement,' Ian said.

'We are delighted to support one of the most popular family events in the region.'

PCYC Maranoa Manager, Sergeant Greg Caletti said the partnership with Senex will have a positive impact on the major fundraising event.

'We rely on our fundraising events like the Senex ColourXplosion so we can continue to make a difference in our local community,' Greg said.

'It's thanks to Senex coming onboard as our major sponsor that we can confidently continue to build safer, healthier communities through youth development programs in 2018 and beyond,' Greg said.
