Servelec Controls is pleased to announce that Sarah Hillier has joined the company as Account Director with specific responsibility for driving the business forward in the defence sector, whilst supporting continued growth in the nuclear and power sectors.

Servelec Controls (Power & Nuclear) works with the UK's largest energy and defence organisations to provide process control and safety systems that make essential tasks safer and simpler. Sarah joins Servelec following a successful three years at global full-service engineering consultancy CH2M, where she fulfilled roles in business development and stakeholder and framework management supporting defence clients. Before her role at CH2M, Sarah spent over ten years at high-tech engineering and consultancy provider Altran (formerly Praxis) within the defence and nuclear market, specialising in safety and mission-critical applications.

Into her new role with Servelec Controls, Sarah brings a wealth of experience of nurturing relationships with existing customers and securing new clients in the energy, nuclear and defence sectors. From her base in the south west of England, Sarah is ideally situated to develop close links with major customers in the sector.

On the appointment, Alex Moore, Managing Director of Servelec Controls (Power & Nuclear) said: 'I am delighted to welcome Sarah to Servelec Controls; her experience in the defence sector will be pivotal to supporting our major clients in this area, such as MoD and AWE.

'Her customer-orientated approach and tenacity will be a real asset in helping us to secure new business and build upon our reputation for technical excellence.'

Servelec Controls is an expert in automation, providing a wide range of mission-critical applications to our clients throughout the UK.
