Announcing the Launch of an ATM Service in Partnership with LINE PayA First for LINE Pay! Offering ATM Transaction Services Nationwide
On Monday October 23, 2017, Seven Bank, Ltd. (hereinafter "Seven Bank"; Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo; CEO: Kensuke Futagoishi) launched an ATM service in partnership with LINE Pay Corporation (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo; CEO: Jun Masuda).
LINE Pay is a mobile money transfer and payment service offered within the communications app LINE which boasts over 70 million monthly users in Japan. The number of domestic users currently registered to LINE Pay exceeds 30 million. Through LINE Pay, users can easily and conveniently transfer money to other users or make payments at shops accepting LINE Pay or JCB (*) out of credit that they've added to their accounts, via card or smartphone.
This partnership will enable LINE Pay users to make LINE Pay transactions via card or smartphone at over 23,000 Seven Bank ATMs nationwide, 24 hours a day all year round, as outlined below.
To commemorate this partnership, we have decorated the Seven Bank ATM corner in Kabukicho, Shinjuku with LINE Pay wallpaper. (See the following page for images of the decorated ATMs.)
Seven Bank will continue to partner with companies from diverse business sectors in order to provide ATM services that can be accessed "anytime, anywhere, by anyone, and with safety and security."
*7-Eleven stores only accepts LINE Pay cards. (Smartphone payment is not available yet.)
