We support drug development through clinical research, focusing on oncology, respiratory diseases and infectious diseases.

With cross-disciplinary expertise, state-of-the-art facilities and far-reaching recruitment capabilities, we can safely shorten the time to market and realize the true potential of innovative drug compounds around the world.

This five minute case study shows how we used creative, patient-focused thinking to ensure the quality of data in an early phase clinical trial in cancer patients with brain metastasis. The drug studied was an extracellular high relaxivity magnetic contrast agent. Initially, we recruited patients based on two possible criteria: they either exhibited sclerosis multiplex indicators or were acute post stroke patients.

Later, we determined that we could only obtain quality data from patients with existing brain metastasis. We were able to quickly recruit patients that met this new requirement by using our extensive, well-built network to connect with oncologists, GPs and cancer patient associations. By deploying a portable MRI machine, we made the process more convenient for patients, giving them further motivation to participate in the study and allowing recruitment to be completed on time.
