SGS is very pleased to announce that its on-site laboratory at JSC Pavlik Gold Co.'s (JSC Pavlik) Pavlik mine in Russia is officially recognized by the RF Federal Service for Accreditation (RusAccreditation) for meeting the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard for specific registered tests for the minerals industry.

Conformance to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard demonstrates technical competency for a defined scope of tests and the operation of a laboratory quality management system. This noteworthy achievement is evidence of SGS's continued commitment to deliver best-in-class results to its clients.

The on-site laboratory at Pavlik is equipped to provide all required analytical services for the mine. The scope of operations includes sample preparation, fire assay, sample digestion, AAS and gravimetric finish for both gold and silver. The long-term strategic partnership between SGS and JSC Pavlik has ensured fast, high quality analysis for JSC Pavlik's on-site operations in Russia and has helped maximise the value from their exploration and mining operations.

OJSC PAVLIC operates Pavlik gold deposit, situated in Tenkinsky district of Magadan region. Pavlik deposit is a part of Omchaksky ore-loose intersection. Mineral base of the deposit Pavlik makes up 154 tons of resources, 100-150 tons of reserves. Pavlik processing plant parameters: 154 tons of resources; ore processing capacity 4 Mio tons per year; gold grade 2,4 g per ton; extraction grade 82%; gold production capacity 8,2 Mio tons per year; 4 Mio tons per year gold ore processing performance (8 tons of gold) (2014).
