Power Machines OJSC manufactured and tested a turbogenerator with a capacity of 220 MW for the 6th power unit of Belovskaya TPP, Siberian Generating Company (SGC).

The parties signed a contract for manufacture and supplies of two turbines with a capacity of 225 MW each complete with turbogenerators for upgrading Belovskaya TPP in December 2010. Power Machines will not only manufacture and supply turbines, turbogenerators and auxiliary equipment to the plant under the contract but also supervise installation and commissioning of the equipment.

Siberian Generating Company is currently replacing two turbines at Belovskaya TPP within Capacity Delivery Agreements (CDA). When these have been implemented, the time-expired turbines with a total installed capacity of 400 MW will be replaced on power units 4 and 6.

Unit 4 is scheduled to be put into operation in December 2013, unit 6 in the end of 2014. The upgrade will facilitate improving plant performance reliability as well as increasing quantities of generated electricity, required for further region development.

In 2012 Power Machines manufactured a complete turbogenerator with a capacity of 220 MW with auxiliary equipment and a steam turbine with a capacity of 225 MW for power unit 4 of Belovskaya TPP. Power Machines facilities are currently continuing to manufacture the second turbine. Equipment supplies are scheduled to be completed in June 2013.

Besides the two turbines for Belovskaya TPP, Power Machines will manufacture equipment to implement investment projects at SGC's other two plants - Tom-Usinskaya TPP and Kuznetskaya TPP. The production and supplies of the turbines for these plants must be fully completed by Power Machines until 1 June 2013. The installation of the first turbines supplied to these power plants has already begun.
