Singapore, 14 January 2016- Job search portal FastJobs emerged as the biggest winner at the inaugural Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) Digital Division Awards 2016 held at the SPH Auditorium this evening.

The SPH Digital Division Awards seeks to recognise the collaborative, enterprising and innovative spirit of digital content and delivery across 12 categories. Individual award categories included peer voting.

Launched in March 2015, FastJobs allows users to search for non-executive, part-time, contract and short-term holiday jobs. It is the only product that managed to score a hattrick in three award categories. Besides bagging the top award of the night for Best New Product, FastJobs also won Best Innovation and Best Campaign.

Conceptualised and developed by the teams at SPH Digital Division, FastJobs was acknowledged for its product concept as well as website, mobile site and native app design excellence. It was recognised by judges as an innovative concept that is relevant in the fast-paced digital industry.

FastJobs' marketing campaign, which features a 'running man' mascot, garnered awards for its creativity in crafting the right message for its target audience. The cross-platform campaign launched at the STJobs Career Fair included video, online and print advertising, as well as out-of-home advertising such as buses, taxis and at Dhoby Ghaut MRT station.

Mr Mark Foo, Product Manager of FastJobs, said: 'We are a very lean team of six people and winning three awards is an affirmation of our continuous efforts in innovation. The support given by management is unprecedented and they were behind us all the way. To date, we have almost doubled our daily job applications and our page views has also rose steadily to over four million.'

12 awards were given out at the SPH Digital Division awards ceremony, which celebrates excellence in the digital content delivery business and contributions from individual staff. Nominations commenced in December, with a total of 249 nominations received across all categories. For individual award categories, peer voting accounted for 50 per cent of the final result.

News and lifestyle website AsiaOne clinched the Best Design (in a digital format)award for its 2015 Year in Review site while video portal SPH Razor won Best Content Presentationfor its BuildSG2065 video, part of an SG50 initiative by CapitaLand in The Straits Times.

'The Behind the Scenes Wonder', 'Most Inspiring Person', and 'Rookie of the Year' awards also acknowledged the individual contributions of Digital Division staff. The Pillar of Virtue and Integrity Award was presented in recognition of steadfast virtues of an individual.
