Singapore Press : Mega sourcing event woos new generation of buyers with practical gifts and a liveable workspace showcase

SINGAPORE, 20 June 2018 - Singapore Gifts & Premiums Fair (SGPFair), Office Expo Asia (OEA), and PrintPack+Sign (PP+S) will be held next month, 18 - 20 July 2018at Marina Bay Sands, Sands Expo Convention Centre, Level 1, Hall A, B & C.

Organised by BizLink Exhibition Services Pte Ltd, this 3-in-1 mega sourcing event is expected to welcome more than 300 exhibitors across 14 countries and regions. BizLink Exhibition Services is a subsidiary of Sphere Exhibits, the events and exhibition arm of Singapore Press Holdings (SPH).

SGPFair's broad range of promotional, corporate, incentive, and retail gifts include locally designed and made gifts, sustainable bags, clothing, and VR viewers that have incorporated an environmentally-friendly theme. One such exhibitor is Deo Silver, a Singapore-based specialist in turning plastic waste into wearable clothing. PET bottles are used to manufacture recycled polyester fabrics which is the material behind its current dry-fit range of apparel. The shirts are also tagged with the number of bottles used to produce it.

This year, OEA presents Liveable Workspaces, a curated showcase of exhibitor products that promote comfort and help foster creativity and teamwork. From height-adjustable desks, air purifiers, bar tools, communal seats, decorative accents, ergonomic chairs, and pantry consumables, they create a conducive meet-work-live playspace. Datumstruct Solutions is a local distributor of the next generation in portable sit/stand products - Humanscale's QuickStand Eco - built with sustainable, non-toxic materials. This allows working staff to alternate between sitting and standing throughout the day, which can address the negative effects of prolonged sedentary behaviour.

Signages are still a key part of a company's marketing strategy, serving as a beacon to attract customers. Halo illuminated signage is chic, contemporary, and energy-saving. Digital signages can now create experiences with end users in mind, by leveraging on AI to collect data of consumers, and then delivering targeted messages. From 3D-printed LED channel letters and light boxes to sustainable packaging, there are also web-to-print solutions, production and finishing services, including paper, embossing, engraving, die-cutting solutions on display. Micronprint, based in Hong Kong, is the world's first start-up using 3D printing technology to make LED channel letters and light boxes for commercial use.

The event also offers educational content at the Branding & Marketing Design Suite where visitors can watch local artists' demonstrations and try out the art of hand-lettering, letterpress printing, and gift wrapping.
