Singapore Telecommunications : Singtel TV leads the Race with AXN and new music channels

AXN (HD), MTV LIVE HD AND MTV China premiere on Singtel TV

Singapore, 27 May 2016 - Singtel TV viewers will be able to catch all the high-octane drama, action and reality series within hours of their US premiere on AXN (HD) on Channel 304, which starts airing on Singtel TV from 27 May, available free to all subscribers of Singtel TV Family Starter Pack. This will include the highly-anticipated The Amazing Race Asia Season 5, which is set to premiere later this year.

To mark the launch of AXN (HD) on Singtel TV, teams interested in registering for the next instalment of The Amazing Race Asia can head to Singtel's exclusive audition booth at Serangoon Nex Mall on June 4 and 5, where they can record a three-minute video. Successful teams will stand a chance to represent Singapore in the upcoming season of this Emmy award-winning adventure reality series.

MTV LIVE HD and MTV China make their return to Singapore on Singtel TV

In addition to AXN (HD) and AXN On Demand (HD), two other new channels will also be launched on Singtel TV today - MTV LIVE HD and MTV China.

MTV LIVE HD will be included in the Singtel TV Family Starter Pack and MTV China will be included

in the Singtel TV Jingxuan Starter Pack. Both channels are available for free preview to all Singtel TV customers from today until 23 June 2016.

MTV LIVEHD (CH 349), a 24-hour music channel, features recorded 'live' music from the biggest acts around the world, with music-based programming from the vast MTV library, such as music festivals, documentaries, live performances such as intimate studio sessions and original productions. MTV LIVE HD can also be accessed via Singtel TV GO app today.

MTV China (CH 550) is a 24-hour, Chinese language music channel, well-known for television shows like MTV Tian Lai Cun, MTV Zhen Live, MTV Countdown Show and Stage.

Both channels join Singtel TV's wide range of music entertainment offerings which include MTV Asia, [V] HD International, Nat Geo Music HD, Mezzo Live HD and more.
