Sirius Minerals Plc (AIM: SXX, OTCQX: SRUXY) ('Sirius' or the 'Company') was notified on 28 April 2016 that on that day Jane Ann Lodge, non-executive director, purchased 100,000 of the Company's 0.25p ordinary shares at an average price of 18.35p each.

Following this transaction, Jane Ann Lodge has a beneficial interest in 200,000 shares representing 0.009% of the issued share capital of the Company.

As at the date of this announcement, the Company's issued share capital consists of 2,294,744,698 ordinary shares with voting rights. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change of interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
