"SiriusXM's Town Hall with Jeff Gordon and Rick Hendrick" will take place on February 21 (8:00 pm ET) in the Bill France Room at Daytona International Speedway and will air live on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (channel 90 on Sirius and XM Premier).

The special will be moderated by Gordon's esteemed former crew chief, Ray Evernham, ESPN analyst and former NASCAR team owner, who was on the pit box for three of Gordon's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championships, and will feature Gordon and Hendrick taking questions from the studio audience about their careers and experiences in NASCAR.

"Daytona is a truly special place," Hendrick said. "Interacting with the fans there will be a fun experience, and I think the 'Town Hall' format will bring out a lot of great stories. I'm grateful to SiriusXM for the invitation and excited to do something like this with Jeff and Ray. We're all looking forward to a memorable night."

"Rick and Ray have been instrumental to my success on the track, and they are great friends of mine off the track," said Gordon. "While I'm really looking forward to this event on SiriusXM because of its 'laid back' nature, I'm actually a bit concerned, too. Those two know way too much about me!"

"Rick Hendrick and Jeff Gordon are two of the most accomplished figures in NASCAR's long history," said Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM's President and Chief Content Officer. "They both achieved extraordinary success at a young age and have consistently remained at the top of their sport. We're very excited to have them participate in our 'Town Hall' series and give our listeners a chance to meet and interact with them in a very unique and personal way."

Gordon, driver of the #24 Drive to End Hunger Chevrolet, has raced his entire NASCAR Sprint Cup Series career with Hendrick Motorsports since signing with the team in 1992 at the age of 20. In that time he became a four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion (1995, '97, '98 and 2001) and three-time Daytona 500 winner (1997, '99 and 2005). He is third on NASCAR's all-time wins list with 87 career victories, and has the most wins in NASCAR's modern era (1972-present). Among his many remarkable career accomplishments, Gordon became the youngest champion in NASCAR's modern era, the youngest driver to win the Daytona 500, and the youngest driver to reach 50 wins.

Rick Hendrick is the chairman of Hendrick Automotive Group, which encompasses more than 100 retail franchises and 8,000 employees across 13 states, and owner of Hendrick Motorsports, one of NASCAR's preeminent race teams. Hendrick Motorsports has garnered a NASCAR record 13 owner's championships and 14 overall: 10 in the Sprint Cup Series, three in the Camping World Truck Series and one in the Nationwide Series. Its roster of stock-car drivers includes four-time champion Jeff Gordon, five-time champion Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Hendrick is currently second on NASCAR's all-time Cup wins list (1949-present) and leads all owners in modern era victories (1972-present).

A leukemia survivor, Hendrick is involved with numerous charitable endeavors, including the Hendrick Marrow Program, which he founded in 1997, and the Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, N.C. Gordon is an active philanthropist who supports various organizations and causes through the Jeff Gordon Children's Foundation. In December, he became just the seventh recipient of the Heisman Humanitarian Award.
