More live sport, more exclusivity, more HD: Sky Deutschland and Eurosport are expanding their partnership

• Eurosport HD continues to be available exclusively on Sky, starting August Eurosport 2 HD also exclusively on Sky
• Optional Eurosport HD multifeeds available in Germany exclusively on Sky

Unterföhring, 20 June 2013 - Sky Deutschland and Eurosport are expanding their partnership. Sky customers will have the opportunity to watch top sports events in bril-liant HD quality in future. As in previous years, Eurosport HD is available to all Sky cus-tomers as part of the Sky Welt package. Furthermore, starting in August, Eurosport 2 will be replaced by Eurosport 2 HD which will also be exclusively available on Sky.

In addition, Sky customers will also be able to follow the live broadcasts of major sports events such as the Tennis Grand Slam Flushing Meadows, in Melbourne and Roland Garros and as well as further overlapping sports events on optional HD multifeeds. With these selected events, the viewers can choose between individual matches, sports and disciplines. In Germany, sports fans can see the optional HD multifeeds exclusively on Sky.

With program highlights such as the Australian Open, the French Open, and the US Open, the biggest cycling races such as the Tour de France, the Giro d'Italia, and the Vuelta, the winter sport world cups, world-class motorsports highlights such as the 24 hours of Le Mans and the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) as well as top events of the Athletic Season including the World Championships in Moscow on Eurosport HD, Eurosport 2 HD and the optional multifeeds offer Sky customers more world class sports live and in HD than before. On Eurosport HD and Eurosport 2 HD Sky cus-tomers can experience over 5,000 hours of live sports in HD every year.
