Software AG Receives Award for “Best Overall Corporate University” Worldwide Published: 5/8/2017

Software AG (Frankfurt TecDAX: SOW) is proud to announce its Corporate University was awarded the bronze medal in the category 'Best Overall Corporate University' by the Global Council of Corporate Universities (GlobalCCU) out of more than 2,000 corporate universities worldwide.

Every two years, the GlobalCCU recognizes the very best global Corporate Universities that create strategic value for business, people, organizations and society and have performed at the highest level of excellence.

'We are thrilled to win this prestigious award, recognizing that our Corporate University is one of the best in the world,' said Dr. Peter Dern, SVP Corporate University at Software AG.

GlobalCCU approached over 2,000 Corporate Universities across the globe. The material presented by the participants is evaluated by a judging committee which consists of Corporate University Professionals. The awards are granted in seven sub categories and in an overall category.

Software AG Corporate University took part in the 'overall' category, where only those with a really broad and deep portfolio and an excellent strategic alignment could participate. Only a very small percentage of these made it to the finals. The GlobalCCU 2017 Awards Ceremony on April 5 rewarded 18 diverse and impressive Corporate Universities from 10 countries.
