Sonae Industria, SGPS, SA announces that its indirect affiliated company Tableros Tradema will enter into negotiations with employees and Trade Unions regarding the closure of its plant located in Solsona (Spain).
Solsona employs 142 people and has a production capacity of 340,000 m3 of Particle Board per annum. It is our intention to concentrate this production in another plant located in Spain (Linares).
This decision was taken given the strong crisis and the consequent drop in demand faced in the construction industry over the last years.
