GREENWOOD, SC- July 1, 2016) South State Investment Services announced Chris White has been named investment consultant for the Greenwood and Newberry markets.

In his role, White will be responsible for assisting his clients with tailored financial strategies including retirement, income, college savings and other investment needs.

Prior to joining South State, White was a financial advisor with Edward Jones in the Greenwood area.

A distinguished military graduate of The Citadel, White earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and is currently a member of the South Carolina Army National Guard. He also holds a Series 7 and 66 Securities registrations held at LPL Financial and a SC Life Accident and Health Insurance license.

A Ninety Six native and active member of the community, White is a member of Rotary and volunteers at Palmetto Boys State, a leadership program for rising high school seniors.
