(CHARLESTON, SC- MAY 11, 2016) South State Bank announced today that Nate Harrison has joined its Charleston office as vice president and commercial banker.

With over 13 years of experience servicing the financial needs of the Charleston community, Harrison has worked in business banking, treasury management, and retail branch management.

Harrison is a graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.

An active member of the community, Harrison serves on the board of Woolfe Street Theater where he also serves as treasurer. He is a volunteer with The Green Heart Project and with The Children's Museum of the Lowcountry.

Harrison and his wife Mandy Jean Harrison are members of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, and the couple has two children.
