Spectris : Appoints Group Human Resources Director

16 January 2017 - Spectris plc ('Spectris') (LSE: SXS), the productivity-enhancing instrumentation and controls company, announces the appointment from today of Andrew Harvey as Group Human Resources Director, a newly-created position on the Spectris Executive Committee. Andrew's responsibility will be to provide central leadership for the Group's HR activities and, in particular, to support the strategic growth initiatives as well as the Group's talent development programme, succession planning and Project Uplift.

Andrew joins Spectris from GKN where he served as Senior VP Human Resources in the Aerospace division and subsequently as Senior VP Human Resources in the Automotive division. Andrew has considerable global HR experience gained in areas including change management, talent and development, employee engagement, acquisitions and disposals.
