Monday, June 18th saw the front-month NYMEX Natural Gas Futures Contracts open at $2.997, two cents below Friday's closing price of $3.022. Fighting downward pressure to reach the intraday high of $3.003 by 9:50AM, profit taking soon took hold as the contract cascaded lower into the morning. Marking the intraday low of $2.945 ahead of 1:00PM, prices traded sideways through the balance of the day as July closed lower on Monday at $2.951.

This morning in Globex, WTI Crude was down 97 cents; Natural Gas was down five cents; Heating Oil was down one cent; and, Gasoline was down two cents.
